Jenny, And I suspect both comments are you. I was astounded that it had been left so long, however there was a reason. It has been fixed, and amended to take parcels. A fancy computer has been fitted, with solar panel on roof, for those clever enough to work out how to pay, and post a packet in the box. Looks too much for me, and if the packet is not inserted properly it will block the box, as has been known before, and stuff then cannot go in. We wait and see, but my wee packet is going via the PO.
Never seen a post box with no door before. I thought they had to be fully removed if they're no longer ger required!
